Childcare service

What is your Childcare Service?

My Childcare service, usually based in the child’s own home, could be care during the day, nursery/school runs, child related errands/appointments or even meal preparation!

Overnight service also available.

What makes a good Childcarer?

When choosing a child carer they should be able to slot into the family’s routine and continue the care as if it was a parent/guardian providing it therefore having little negative impact on the child’s routine.

A childcarer should be empathetic, competent, loving and caring. Able to act in the child’s best interest and have policies and procedures in place for the unexpected.

Your child should adore them and you, as parents, should feel completely at ease leaving your child in their care.

What makes you different from other Providers?

How much do you charge?

Starting from £12.65 per hour depending on a number of factors such as age, number of children and duties, get in touch to discuss your situation and requirements and we can go from there. It could even be less!

Do you offer Babysitting?

Absolutely!

Simple pricing inclusive of 2 children.
Minimum booking is 4 hours @ £40.
More than two children or longer than 4 hours?
See below.

Do we employ you?

Some other Nanny’s often require to be Employed by the family. This is not always good for the actual family as they have to follow the same employment laws as other Employers and offer sick pay, holiday pay and ensure the “employee” is setup with the PAYE payroll system where it is the employer’s responsibility (i.e the family) to pay the Employee’s Income Tax, National Insurance contributions.
The is not the case with me. I always offer my services as a self-employed individual as a sole trader under Treasure the Moments. You do not need to worry about the hassle of being an employer or payroll using Treasure the Moments. When it comes to paying it couldn’t be more simple. I generate an invoice and it is paid via bank transfer.

Do you Accept Government Funding?

No. I am no longer able to accept any government funding as I resigned my Ofsted registration in 2015/2016. This includes local authority payments or vouchers through salary sacrifice.
Being a previously rated “Good” Childminder and qualified Early years Practitioner, I am able to provide early years education and childcare without the requirement of being registered as long as I do not provide childcare from my own home. Which I do not offer.

Do you offer any discounts?

Potentially. Discounts available if booked and paid for in advance. Contact to discuss.
